Is this a garage door company?
No. KC Garage Door Help is a free referral service. When you call, you are connected with an independent, local garage door company that serves your ZIP code. That company gives you the quote and does the work.
Does the call cost anything?
The call and the referral are free. You only pay the company you choose, and only after you agree to their price.
Can I fix a broken spring myself?
We do not recommend it. Garage door springs hold a lot of tension and cause serious injuries every year. Leave spring work to a trained technician.
What should I ask before work starts?
Ask for the total price including parts and any trip or after-hours fee, what warranty comes with the parts and labor, and whether the company is licensed and insured where you live.
